A little about us
At Acorns, our entire team is committed to creating a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment, where every child is encouraged to learn and grow to reach their full potential. We do all we can to support parents to ensure they feel that our nursery is as close to an extension of life at home as possible.
We carefully select the best staff for the Acorns team and many of them have been committed to us since we opened in April 2000.
Our aim is to work in close partnership with parents to develop an approach to caring for your child. We want to ensure every child is given the best opportunity to develop and as a result we provide tailored learning programmes for children of all ages. We maintain small groups of children across all age groups to ensure each child's individual needs can be accommodated.

AGE: 1 - 2 Years
Babies
Activities are provided for each child to enjoy and also promote self expression and encourage active learning through play.
AGE: 2 - 3 years
Toddlers
We provide a mixture of adult-led, adult-initiated and child-initiated play which has many developmental benefits.
AGE: 3-4 YEARS
Preschoolers
We allow our preschool children to make their own choices, this child-centered approach builds self esteem and helps them develop.
AGE: 4-11 YEARS
After School Clubs
From 2-6pm term time and 8am-6pm during ALL school holidays. We currently offer wraparound care in Abbots Cross Primary School & King's park Primary School.
*Pick up service also available from Whitehouse Primary & St James Primary.
